“Tauromaquia” series of drawings inspired by the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, 42 x 59 cm, ink on paper, 2017. This series was presented in 2019
on my exhibition “Lines - Rhythms - Labyrinths” in Polish Institute in Düsseldorf. The composition is extremely geometric, it transforms the myth about Theseusus and the Minotaur in a very abstract way. This does not mean, however, that it is not the work that does not reflect the most important features of the myth - you can clearly see the references to the labyrinth or Greek ornaments, but everything is shown in a contemporary way.
