"Cheval Masque", Hermès scarf, 140 x140 cm, cashmere and silk, 2025
Referring to the Polish School of Posters of the 1960s and 1970s, “Cheval Masque” is a form of optical illusion, depicting a carnival horse's head. Its rich adornments express the freedom to dress up and transform oneself, combining live performance and theater costumes. Is it a horse or a zebra? With peacock feathers from Krakow hats, ostrich and lyrebird feathers, and a joyful trumpet, the scarf displays the colors of all our fantasies and identities.
