Series inspired by Damien Hirst exhibition, presented in the Fondation Cartier, 2021
Hanami is a Japanese festival of viewing cherry blossoms. Cherry trees usually bloom in spring, but this time they unexpectedly bloomed in winter in Paris - Damien Hirst transformed the space of the Fondation Cartier into an abstract Japanese landscape. Hirst's works are a beautiful reference to traditional Japanese culture, which has already entered the pop-cultural context very much. Although the works presented at the exhibition are not the most characteristic of Hirst's projects, they remain in my memory for a long time.
